– I Can’t Stop Self Sabotage –
Someone recently asked me what should they do because they can’t stop bingeing and get their head in the game?
First and foremost, I have been where you are….several times. And it sucks and I’m sending love. Having lost 66 lbs from keto and intermittent fasting, I’ve been around this mountain once or twice.
I once asked Dr Berry in an interview about not being able to ‘get keto’ and having a lot of self sabotage. (Back story was I had binge eaten nights in a row and this was on keto.) I asked him what the solution was. Dr Berry said, “You will continue to suffer.” WOW, it felt like a punch to the gut, but was so true. I so appreciate his honesty.
So, I pose the answer to questions of self sabotage and binge eating behavior – you will continue to suffer if it doesn’t change.
And that has been my experience.
I can choose to suffer or I can choose the ‘less hard’ which is keto & fasting. It’s hard either way, but I would rather have less hard. Some days I am all in…some days I need mental pep talks to re-remind myself why this is important. What I don’t often share on camera is that I have to weekly see a spiritual adviser to ensure my head and heart are aligned w/ healing & wellness. Seeking wise council is important.
If I don’t, then I go to ‘f this’ zone.
I will pray for you and am sending love if you are in a space of self sabotage.
Today, I don’t want to suffer. I am focused on both feeling well and weight loss. I still want to lose that 100 lbs! Losing consistently – yes, with Crush It With Countess getting released August 1st, I have to do what I’m talking about personally or the program won’t be out of integrity.
Sending love and prayers….I’m lasered focused on what’s the next loving thing I can do for myself? Is that meal prep for a plan, grocery shop, eat certain food, take a nap, go to bed early, not eat that, etc? And then what’s the next loving thing for myself? And the next loving thing for myself? And the next loving thing for myself?
