After months of going full steam, my family and I got to crash at the beach this week. I LOVE the Outer Banks. North Carolina is my zen place and I have been coming to OBX for over half my life.

I will talk about it more on Youtube, but I didn’t eat keto for 4 days while on vacation. Basically, half our trip.  I wanted a real birthday cake for my birthday and to feel ‘normal’.

I ended up getting puffy, anxiety came back and somewhat moody. I was grateful to be back on the keto woe. See my puff below?

If you don’t use photos for your weight loss progress, I would strongly encourage you to start! I can see I have gained. That is wisdom from the past year of keto living and 50 lbs downs….err…maybe a little little less down.

Going back to the basics, here are some of my favorites that I’m loving this week:

*Ocean Sounds – it was so fun making these. I’m going to use my own videos during my mediation time at home. The ocean feels so peaceful to me.

*Macadamia Nuts – Expensive, yes. But, they keep me satiated going through keto day 1 & keto day 2. Thank God for 2 day delivery.

*Pelligrino – Y’all know I love a good pelly!  This has been awesome with lime sitting on our beach deck watching the ocean and pelicans fly over.

*Coconut Oil – I talked about it on Facebook how my coconut oil exploded in my Vuitton. Uh-oh.  I’ve been taking my coconut oil in portion size in a ziploc baggie to the beach coffee shop.  It helped me get the job done ;-).

*Shrimp with buttter – I’ve been on a mission this trip to get the BEST seafood.

*Complete Guide to Fasting – I have been reading and re-reading this book over and over by Dr Fung. I’m going to start the Obesity Code when I get home. I kind of did it out of order, but I love Dr Fung’s content.
