Top 10 Aldi Keto Foods:

  1. Organic & grass fed are ideal, but do the best you can afford
  2. Kerrygold grass fed butter in blocks or spreadable or the Aldi generic grass fed butter
    1. Spreadable is incredible, but make sure canola oil isn’t added (inflammatory and corn based – boo).
  3. Heavy Cream
    1. Much debate over heavy cream from Aldi. My preference is organic kind, but also do generic.
  4. Cheese – ohmylawd!
    1. Kerrygold grass fed cheese or Aldi generic grass fed cheese is incredible. Shred your own cheese.
    2. Goat cheese
  5. Aldi generic cream cheese
    1. Use Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Seasoning on top + 1 tablespoon cream cheese = life changing
  6. Macadamia Nuts
    1. Is seasonal, but grab several bags for only $8.
    2. Make sure no canola oil is added in the ingredients as some bags have freakishly had.
    3. ¼ cup macadamia nuts= 4.75 carbs or 1.75 net carbs
  7. Bacon
    1. They have an uncured bacon (check Dr Berry’s video on uncured meats) that I enjoy.
    2. Most have sugar added, but it does get burned off. Be conscious with your choice on the sugar.
  8. Whole Milk Ricotta
    1. This is incredible on zucchini noodles for keto pasta.
  9. $0.25 generic Aldi Tomato Sauce
  10. Sour Cream

  • Keto Oatmeal – I use chia seeds for the ‘oats’
  • Coconut oil
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Unsweetened almond milk
  • Pesto for keto pasta
  • Sausage
    • If you can get seasonal Old Bay sausage, GET IT!
  • Sparkling water, but I like to get mine from Amazon for no schlepping
  • Cage free and/or organic eggs (there is controversy over regular, cage free and organic eggs, so do what you feel is best)

  2. Radishes = 1 cup radish = 3.9 carbs or 3 net carbs
  3. Celery = 1 cup celery = 3 carbs or 1.5 net carbs
  4. Cauliflower = 1 cup cauliflower = 5 carbs or 3 net carbs
